Hailed “outstanding band” (Wall Street Journal) and “NYC darlings” (TimeOut), Svetlana's New York Collective is a group of determined jazz talents on a mission to uplift, energize… and spread the joy of what WPIX/11 News called “exuberant foot–stomping music that com­bines New York swing with pop singer/songwriter sensibilities.” Svetlana and her band have released a chart topping Night at the Movies (debuted #1 on the US Billboard Traditional Jazz Charts / #2 on Jazz Album Charts) in 2019 and have headlined sold out release shows at Joe’s Pub (NYC), Blues Alley (Washington DC), Regatta Bar (Boston), Blue Note (NYC) and beyond. 2020 is seeing a new iteration of New York Collective “mobile unit”, a quartet-sized band with an emphasis on showcasing bandleader Svetlana’s artistry, exciting new original compositions and unique arrangements of material from her chart-topping record Night at the Movies - and beyond. Svetlana and NY Collective performs in formats ranging from this quartet to a seven-piece, horn-infused band. A performance by Svetlana and the New York Swing Collective is a colorful carnival of sound, seamlessly moving from sophisticated retro­spection to a joyfully rowdy party - delivering "great sounding, great looking, highly entertaining unique tight show - with big sound and deeply personal sincere connection with the audience!" Russian-by-birth / American-by-music, a natural entertainer from an early age, critically acclaimed vocalist, composer, arranger and NYSC band-leader SVETLANA is “Astrid Gilberto via Moscow” (Guy Eckstine, Grammy Award Winning Producer), "erudite, purist torchy jazz chanteuse" (Lucid Culture), “Exceptional vocalist songwriter!” (Wall Street Journal).

Pianist / composer WILLERM DELISFORT is a messenger of life using music as his tool. Born in Little Haiti Miami, his family exposed him to music from a very early age while teaching him the importance of being able to dance and feel the embrace of the music. WIllerm’s career extends the styles ranging from Jazz, Gospel, R&B – making him in-demand with most prominent artists of these genres, performing and recording all over the world. Willerm is a prominent jazz educator (Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center) and his own group can be seen in venerable NYC clubs (Lincoln Center)

Drummer HENRY CONERWAY III is a leading presence on the jazz scene, working with such global touring artists as Freddy Cole; Marcus Printup; Jazzmeia Horn; and more. A Detroit native, his thirst for the jazz was nurtured by his mother, a lover of music, and his father, a brilliant classical violinist,. He has performed all over the world – his album “With Pride for Dignity” debuted at #1 on the @itunes Jazz Charts

San Francisco born Israeli ADI MEYRSON is a vibrant bassist mentored by the likes of Ron Carter, Reggie Workman, Billy Harper. She is a grantee of a prestigious award by the NYC Women's Fund for Music - and released her critically acclaimed debut in 2017 which garnered attention throughout the US and the world for her "Intuitive and perspicacious” performance (Downbeat). Adi is an educator with JALC.
