The record Night at the Movies (produced by Grammy Nominated Matt Pierson, arranged by Grammy Winning Gil Goldstein, and ft Wycliffee Gordon, Sullivan Fortner, Pasquale Grasso and more) has debuted #1 on Billboard Traditional Jazz Album Charts and #2 on Billboard Jazz Album Charts and continues accumulate critical acclaim.

Svetlana's Night at the Movies takes listeners on a dynamic musical journey that ranges from the French New Wave and Soviet Cinema, to modern day Academy Award-winners, and animated classics - presented by the New York Swing Collective, the ensemble of New York emerging jazz stars. Night at the Movies, is a fourteen-track collection of film music that spans a century of cinema. It is also a love letter to dreaming — both the night and its mysteries, as well as reflecting the yearning for something more, escaping from unwanted realities through imagination and optimism, and persevering despite all odds. Film and music both express a fleeting beauty. Night at the Movies reflects these moments of joy and passion, sharp humor and reflection, and most of all, fantasy - the record release concert will transport the audience to the carnival of sound, seamlessly moving from sophisticated retrospection to a rowdy "exuberant, foot-stomping music combining swing and pop-singer/songwriter sensibilities!"
