Svetlana was invited to provide a traditional jazz New Orleans Second Line for Celebration of Life of The Reverend Jeannette J. Phillips, the Founder of Sun River Health Organization at the incredible NYC venue, the iconic trendy New York City event space Glass House

Sun River Health believes that excellent health care should not be a privilege for a few, but a right for all. As of today, more than 250,000 patients count on Sun River Health to get the care they need and the respect they deserve. They can access 400+ providers in 48 health centers across the Hudson Valley, New York City, and Long Island. In the early 1970s, four African American women in Peekskill, New York came together to address the lack of affordable, quality health care in their community. With money from a small federal grant, the first Sun River Health site was opened in 1975. That first health center has since grown to become an FQHC (federally qualified health center) system with over 45 locations, serving more than 250,000 patients throughout the Hudson Valley, New York City, and Long Island

We provided an authentic Second Life to celebrate the life of the remarkable woman, The Reverend Jeannette J. Phillips - with over 1,000 people in attendance. The gathering enjoyed the somber sounds of the Second Line - that quickly turned to a joyful celebration.
